This is not Sugababes' most instant album. This is probably the only album of theirs that doesn't have obvious stand out singles, as most of the songs here are more subtle, but it's a slow burner. Check out the should've-been-a-single "Unbreakable Heart," written by Max Martin, and the beautiful closer (not counting bonus tracsk) "Can We Call a Truce?" which features some of Amelle's best vocals. Songs like "Sunday Rain," "Side Chick," and "Every Heart Broken" bring the melodrama, while "Hanging on a Star" and "You on a Good Day" provide cute sunny moments. If you're looking to get into the Sugababes, I wouldn't recommend starting with this album. But, if you want something beyond the intese pop hooks of "About You Now" and "Push the Button," this album will provide the soulful twist you're looking for.
