Jonnie never disappoints! The smooth melodic sounds are woven through every song on this album! Don't be fooled by the 35 minute runtime... you'll have it on repeat to make it last longer. Joonie is one of those artist that if you're just now finding out about him, you'll get all of his older material and binge.

Joonie is one of the most underrated artists. But I almost want him to stay on the underside, bc when ppl blow up, a lot of times they lose their edge and creative spur. He’s a ‘known’, but hidden gem.
Been a fan of Joonie, since 2015.

The reason I added the date, March 12th of 2015, is because that’s the first time I heard Joonie’s music. Specifically, I was watching Issa Rae’s YouTube series on relationships called “First”. Episode 2, of season 2. His song “Wish her the best”, was featured in that episode and it struck a chord in my heart. I’ve listened and internalized all of his music since that time. From his “Acoustic Love” project to his “Contrast” project, and now to his “Yellow Dust”’project, which is incredible! R&B will never be “irrelevant” with artists like Joonie leading it.
