Reviews

  • Music great, labeling awful!!

Apple has completely screwed up my downloads. I have a bunch of songs with the same titles, e.g., The Who Sell Out Mono, The Who Sell Out Stereo, The Road to Tommy, Studio Sessions 1967/68, etc. Who programmed this album?? FIX THE TITLES!! (The collection itself is magnificent. The download is what I’m complaining about.)
  • Varrooooooom!!

Overshadowed by the band's later, heavier period (Tommy, Quadrophenia, Live at Leeds and Who's Next), The Who Sell Out was also an amazing bridge to that phase from the earlier Mod/R&B days. It's a great, great record.
  • Unbelievable Music from The Who

Maybe the greatest overlooked rock record ever produced. A must have for sure!!! Thank you Pete Townshend
