At first listen, many will tend to miss the lyrics and retro sound that plays very well with the vocoder. This is still Lifehouse. A band unafraid of experimenting with sounds and musical styles. This sound is a welcome one that cuts through the clutter of modern pop music. “Dragonflies” swells with musical harmonies at the end and gives a satisfying resolution.
