  • What was she thinking?

Would anyone who didn't know Bach be able to tell where Bombay Minor came from? This is just plain heresy and Ms St John should have known better. What on earth possessed her to record this on Sony no less? Can anyone tell me where to find the video she made that they used against her? This has blackmail written all over it.

What she has done here with Bach is wonderful. Adding a modern twist to Bach music is really enjoyable. I have to recommend "The Sicilian" as my fav....

I think classical music is SEXY! I first got into Lara St John when I was looking for anyone who played Bach with the passion and feeling that I just know he composed with. ( that guy is one with his maker, yes!) In short, someone whose focus was the sensuality, NOT just the technical expertise of classical music. Lara St John delivers sensuality, feeling, passion AND technical expertise. I have all of her albums. This one is AWESOME for its fearless use of modern instruments and arrangments - open at the top so to speak when entering into the sacred sanctuary of classical music..... Keeping classical music alive and growing, not allowing it to stay stagnant without energy. You know that if Bach was alive in this century he would have been exploring just as Lara St John is with this album
