Waiting on the instrumental. He gets props the beats are skanless and the rappers are all top notch. Can't go wrong with this. Definitely you can hear his own style. How many artist do you know that actually come out harder on their second offering. I see greatness in his future.
  • Oh No comes through in the clutch!!!

When i bought this album i was thinking to myself its only going to be decent because he's not as good at the one and only Madlib. But Oh No definatly proved me wrong the beats are really tight and the lyrics are dope his guest list is pretty cool too. You should definatly buy this album, Oh No has his own destinct sound and it sounds amazing!

I really hated Oh No's last album, it bored me. This album is sooo damn good you will just be amazed, all the beats are from music Galt MacDermot had made and Oh No has sampled. The collaborations are pretty much perfect. The beats are just soo damn good i cant stress it enough. Top Track in my opinion is the sad track "T Biggums".

this cd is amazing. oh no mixes mcdermot's sounds so well that you forget that it's a concept album altogether. this cd, as most stones throw releases, fits perfectly into your ears after a puff or two. my favorite track off this CD is "Keep Tryin'", i got chills the first time it came on in my car. the only thing that faults this cd is that oh no only MCs in 3 of these tracks which is a shame because he is very gifted at that too (see: the disrupt). if you like this cd, you should check out stones throw's catalog, esp. J DILLA - DONUTS. fort crew

Oh No has done a wonderful job sampling Galt MacDermot's music and even a better job selecting the right personalities to perform their art over these beats. If you have not purchased this album yet, click on the buy now link. This album is on HEAVY rotation!!!
  • No Aire indeed

This album is completely good except for one problem. I'm almost looking forward more to the instrumental release of this, so I can study these incredible beats more closely, but it only gets four stars because Vast Aire is whack, and he ruins Oh No's production. If by Aire you mean MC credibility, then No Aire indeed.

Oh No has created an auditory experience only imitated by his brother Madlib. "To Be an MC" is this albums best track but is not the only banger. Buy this album and Madlib The Beat Konducta, Vol. 1-2 and enjoy the NEW ideas of hip hop.

Oh No hits with a solid album that does not sound like madlib. Not like madlib sounds bad but as his brother you dont want to sound the same. This album does that perfectly. Good guests and solid production. Hopefully Oh No keeps dropping albums like this. Pure Quality
