I thought the first album was amazing, I expected the same here and at first didn’t hear it. I’ve been listening to WVH nonstop for about a week in preparation for his show I’m going to (I know I like about 5 songs) and the more I listen, the more I love it. This album (do we still call them albums?) was a great follow up. While Distance is still the best song between the 2 albums, there are several good ones on this album too like I’m alright and Take a Bow are the first 2 to totally grab me. Glad Wolfgang is carrying on the family tradition and letting another generation hear the amazing contributions this family can make to the world through music. Looking forward to the 3rd album.
I don’t want to like WVH but I can’t help it

I resisted listening to or liking WVH because I’m an old School Van Halen fan and was irritated when EVH had Wolfgang play bass on their last tours. It just rubbed me to wrong way that Michael Anthony got hosed over like he did. But I do understand wanting to go on tour with your son. So after actually listing to the music and watching the videos I was won over by WVH. It’s good music and Wolfgang is a great musician and can actually sing. I’m reluctantly impressed. I do have to wonder though will the third album be called Mammoths and Children First? Actually I hope it is.
WVH crushes it!

Love this album! The guitar work on “Take a Bow” is amazing! Great musicianship throughout this album.

Wolf has taken his guitar solos to a new level. The fruit doesn’t fall very far from the tree. He has a great voice as well and needs to turn up the vocals a little more to show it off. Rock on brother!!
Incredible
