Kevin solo band w/ Candlebox name

I've been with this band from the beginning and when Kevin went solo with the band name to help sell concert tickets. I even was there when Kevin was playing in front of 25 people with his band the Hiwatts in 2002.
I feel they had a really good run of writing strong material all the way thru 2012 Love Stories but then , Peter, Sean,and Scott ( the last original members) left the band .
Kevin did really well without Peter and had really good material on the Hiwatts release in 02 but has really struggled writing anything good since Pete and the others left and this is no exception.
Elegante and Nails are the two strongest songs and everything else is some of the weakest material he's every put out. Except maybe 2016 Disappearing in Airports.
I should note that surprisingly 2021's Wolves was pretty good although not quite the Candlebox sound.
Too bad the rest of the original band couldn't have got back together for the final album and tour.
Maybe sometime in the future they will tour anyway.
Plus , Kevin does the farewell opening for another band that people may not want to see or pay for . I didn't go.
They keep getting better!

Been fan since 1990’s when far behind song came out caught me hooked to Candlebox and their rock music. ❤️2,3,7,8,10 on last new album and ❤️ so many songs in past. Wish Candlebox great last tour and hope Kevin will enjoy his retirement with his family.

If this is indeed their final studio album, its a shame cause its not great. Its ok. It lacks the rythm of their past and kinetic flow.

Like so many bands that start off great they’ve also followed the evolution to cookie cutter to the drain. Linkin Park did the same in my opinion. When candlebox first hit the scene that bluesy rock sound with heartfelt lyrics was unmatched. This is no where close to that. The new songs are ok but forgettable.

These guys have stayed with the formula! One of the most underrated bands coming out of the grunge era. Lyrics on surrending changed my life. Thank you

One of the bands I loved in college and they have stayed so consistently good over the years. Got a chance to see them a couple of years ago in a small club and it was a great show. First song is good. Will be sad not to get more music but will always love the catalog.
