This band sold out major venues yet their record label could not promote them nationally??? Biggest disgrace in Rock music history!!! Where is Clive Davis when ya need him. This band had some great musicians and song writing skill. Deserved much better!

Living in pittsburgh, we frequently traveled to youngstown and went to a concert hall there, i forget the name, but MSB was always one of our favs, as was Joan jett and the Blackhearts, and donnie Iris, and the Silencers from the steel city. But MSB were worth the drives to the cleveland area. oh the memories.

Saw this band many times at the Agora Ballroom in Cleveland. Excellant Midwest rock and roll.

A NE Ohio classic, this album was HUGE. Although I havent found it on ITunes, Friends and Legends is among my top 10 all time. Thankfully I have in Vinyl. If you like Michael Staney and find it...BUY IT!

Maybe because Michael Stanley was the first concert I ever saw (Rocky River High School in 1975), or maybe because I grew up in Cleveland, but this is still one of my favorite bands and favorite albums of all time. I have over 200 MSB songs loaded on to my iPod. Only Springsteen and Petty compete with this number. Great live performer, should have made it big, but maybe because he didn't it's why so many of us have such a passion for his music. I got tired of hearing My Town and He Can't Love You with all the airplay they received. I'm glad I never got tired of hearing Somewhere In The Night, or Midwest Midnight, or All I Ever Wanted. These songs still make me stop and turn up the volume just a little extra. Great songwriter, great band...I'm just sayin'.

StagePass was a fantastic Album. How these guys never hit it big Nationwide, I & thousands of other NE coasters, will never know!! But, being an Ohio boy..I was lucky to grow up jamming to these tunes!! Its a MUST HAVE!!!

A friend introduced me to this album in the late 70s, around a campfire, proclaiming it to be "the greatest live rock and roll album ever." Yes, I grew up in northeastern Ohio, but I've been a whole lot of places since then. It's been a whole lot of years since then. And I've listened to a whole lot of music since then. My friend is still right.
