it had a lot of potential, but you can hear dream’s inexperience throughout the project. which isn’t his fault, that’s on the producers to hide his weaknesses and highlight his strengths. the production sounds undercooked and half baked in some places. some of the vocal lines sound like they needed another take or two, or another layer to support them, and some of the instrumentals aren’t my favorite (specifically invincible. which is lyrically really strong, but is held back by a lackluster production). and like i’ve said before (and dream confirmed on stream) it’s lacking his unique essence that was present on mask and even roadtrip, and was also there for songs like paranoid and in his unreleased tracks panic attack. it’s too polished when rawness is dream’s strong suit. overall. it’s a decent pop project with standout tracks like paranoid and until i end up dead, but, we’ve heard better songs from him and i think his next projects have a lot of potential to be really good if he leans into his strengths and finds producers that specialize in more experimental sounds. smaller critiques would be; song length. two minutes is a teaser, give me a bridge or a breakdown of the chorus or something. single choice. paranoid should’ve been the lead, with a music video and all. and the fact that he didn’t put panic attack / the other really good songs on the main body of work. i think panic attack, afraid of myself, that 123 song, etc are all stronger than most tracks on the EP

Dream put so much thought and dedication into this EP and it shows. It has so much emotion put into it and such a deep meaning behind each song and what it meant for him to put these stories into songs. And every single song is a banger!
