Back when the hit If You Love Me hit the airwaves, I loved the song and bought the cd single. Loved it ! Twenty years later, I was listening to a local station that plays oldies. If You Love Me came on and I turned up the volume and I was grooving to these ladies' beautiful voices and harmonies all over again. So I bought the album on Itunes and listened to the whole album with a more mature ear than what I had back in ’93. I fell in love with the whole album. The power of Brownstone’s voices will either get you up and dancing or singing along with them. It’s my go to album when I’m having a glass of wine and want to chill. Or in the shower (yes I have Bose speakers in my bathroom) dancing and (trying) to harmonize/sing with the girls. This is a gem of an album because it’s quality music sung by voices of angels. If these ladies’ voices can motivate my old carcass to get up and dance and sing, then they’ll do the same for you.
