And I don't mean me (though I won't deny the merits of an argument to that end). Someone with Nashville ears shouldn't review an Americana sound. Bruce has a wonderfully expressive, though reedy, vocal style that lends itself well to the personal and emotional songs he writes. This is an excellent collection that sounds as good, if not better, from the man's own mouth as from a more "radio friendly" voice. I love Bruce's voice, the tone, the delivery, everything. He's also one of the best living country songwriters.
