From a typical western european/ usa heritage with a love for the american west and modern country music lady …..I love this artist! He blends classic old story lines with a fresh new twist, throwing in a Celtic vibe that’s unexpected but utterly delightful. I came here to buy a song or two, ended up with the whole album.

This is today’s country music! It’s fresh and full of memorable tunes you can sway to in a bar or just listen to during a long drive. Country music is for EVERYONE same as all other genres of music. It’s funny how Post Malone, Jelly Roll, Teddy Swims, Redferrin, Kane Brown, and Nate Smith to name a few that are doing country music fresh and nuanced infused with different genres of hip-hop, rock, soul, R&B, blues, or a pop feel. So why does it appear Shaboozey is being judged so harshly? It needs to be refreshed at times to keep it moving forward and continuing to introduce the old style with the new so that the younger generation and the next can appreciate the icons and their music.
