So far this isn't the R&B I love. That's not to say it's "bad", just not whattI would expect (or want) from Miguel. I was hoping for the R&B that he used to be capable of on his first two albums, but this definitely doesn't seem to be going in that direction at all. I was hopeful with the release of the song "Give it to Me" a few years back, but it seems as if he's ditched that style completely.
He's BAAAAA-AAAAAACK!

I've been waiting patiently and eagerly for a new album, and the songs I've heard sound like a journey through things. I was especially intrigued when he performed the art installation and the hook suspension (while singing!) but then it went dark. But now that I know what El Pleito means, it maybe makes more sense.

I’ll always follow Miguel’s career. He just does it time and time again. I’m loving every song I’ve heard so far off of this album. Can’t wait to see what he does next!
