I found this LP in a Good Will for $1. As usual with Ray Conniff, the vibe is starched and stilted. But even so, I actually liked a couple of the pairings (not quite mash-ups or medleys). The only problem was the beat up quality of the record was a bit grating on the ears and grew tiring given the slow nature of the music. To be able to buy a version digitized from the original master tapes makes a world of difference! With the perfect stereo separation and absence of surface noise, this album has really grown on me. Great driving music.

I first purchased this album at a US Army PX store in Frankfurt G.ermany, back in 1963, my army buddies & I spent countless hours listening to it. A favorite for many years
