Great release but still being hemmed in by Bob "Rock". Raine has such a cool and unique voice and self proclaimed Mr. Rock simply tones down what makes OLP so different. I long for the days of old with Maida in which he let it go as he does in concert still. There are some great songs on this cd, but it still seems subdued unlike Spiritual Machines and Happiness Is a Fish. Still better then 95% of what's out there these days, but they need to lose Rock two cds ago and how about some work with Mrs. Maida. Perhaps a louder Damien Rice feel would be in order...oh yah...they're not working together any longer. Oh well, how about getting the old lead guitar back in the fold? It beggining to look like the end for one of my favorite, under appreciated bands in the States.
