  • Staple

This album is a metal core staple for the genre. The ending of Five Years is without a doubt one of the best outros I’ve ever heard. Bless Misery Signals.
  • Ten years later

It’s been ten years since the release of this album and still this album hits harder than any other. The quality of execution and musicianship is tighter than any other. Any other band in the genre classifies as mimicry. This album will hit you in the brain and make you want to hit back. You also will be touched and feel the deep emotional valleys on tracks like “The Year Summer Ended in June” and “Stinging Rain” and “Worlds and Dreams” If you are into metal and don’t have this album, you’re not into metal.

They helped start me out on melodic hardcore and have an insane knack for gliding in and out of parts without that "brick wall" feel of part after part hardcore songs. Their other albums are good too but this was a stroke of genius. Ex members of 7a7p and I wonder what happened to this vocalist? The new guy's good too but I felt this one had more range even with the doubling.
  • Truly amazing.

I bought this way back in 05 on a recommendation from a friend because he knew how much I loved 7a7p, and this band has been one of my favorites ever since. I still don't think any band has truly been able to duplicate these guys, although plenty have tried. Their most recent record, Controller is a pretty good listen but I still have to say this one is my favorite Misery Signals album by far. The guitars are heavy and soft, brutal and melodic all at once. This is one of the only true 'progressive' metalcore records out there. I can't even list standout tracks because they're all pretty great to be honest. If you're into Shai Hulud, 7 Angels 7 Plagues, The Ghost Inside or With Honor, you're going to love this one.
  • What's going on?

Ok, first off, I love this band and this album. But what happened to Mirrors? It's not listed on their itunes page. And it seems like all the reviews have been taken down and they're starting from scratch. All I have to say is, iTunes, get your stuff together. There's not much too say except that I love this album. I love all 3 of them. If you're gonna listen to anything hardcore, make sure you listen to these guys or else you'll be missing out. If you see that these guys are playing near you. Go see them. They are insane live.

Dueddee!! Misery Signals is the sickest band out there!! Murder is and has been my favorite song ever since I first heard it. If your looking for some major breakdownage or some sweet lyrics, this album has it all!
