It was 1974 and Babylon founder, Rick Lenoard and I were working together in a bar band called Zero in St. Pete Beach. I was the band's manager/roadie/sound man in those innocent days.
In our off times, I would play my Genesis and King Crimson LPs to the band members. Rick was enamored with "Selling England by the Pound" and "Foxtrot". And he was a player!
I got married and graduated from USF (the University of South Florida) in 1975, returning to Orlando to take a "real job".
Rick, on the other hand, being a few years younger, was able to pursue his passions, forming Babylon - one of the un-sung great prog-rock bands of all time!
If you like old-school Genesis, buy this album!
And just a reminder, this was remastered by the late-great, musician/producer-genius, Kevin Gilbert- so it sounds great!
