i read alot of people saying that consequence sounds like kanye and how he was better when he was kanye, and how he should stop trying to be like kanye. did anyone ever stop and think that kanye was being like consequence? maybe con was/is writing some stuff for kay? just a thought...give the man his credit because he is due.

I'm tell you, the beats are off the hook on this album. I'm shocked it didn't do better than it should have. I over heard "The good, the bad, and the ugly" and I decided to preview the album, and I was blown away. My favorite tracks
Uptown
The good, the bad, the ugly

It's ironic that it took a feature on a Kanye song for people to notice Cons, when he is twice the rapper Kanye will ever be.
Cant tell if Lupe, Kanye, or Consequence has less talent

Consequence went to the shcool of over complocated lyrics and has no real talent, thats why his album came out in March of 07 and no one has herd of it.

Cons style is unique yet familier. He has a Slick Rick and Kanye West style but it's almost completely different. This is a hot album but you will never know it b/c of the marketing. Cons was mad b/c even himself knew that he would sell b/c they wasn't marketing him right. Granted his debut single "Callin Me" wasn't that good but you can't define Cons by that song alone. He goes all the way back to "A Tribe Called Quest." If you don't know Cons listen to his mixtapes and you will know the real Cons. This album is more mainstream but not commercialized which makes him unique.
