this movie and soundtrack create suspense and show off the talent of mark mancia. I think the music blends and complements the movie. In short good album and good movie 5 star, 2 thumbs up, 10 out of 10.

Pretty good album, can't top the Bourne Soundtracks but, still great soundtrack. Like that u don't have to buy the whole album to get ur favorite song or whatever, personally I think "Shootout in Verginia" is the best...

Mark Mancina is one of my favorite score composers and it's great that he's finally taking on more film projects. If you're not familiar with his work, he did Con Air, Speed and Twister just to name a few. I put Mancina's work right up there with Hans Zimmer and John Powell. If you like this soundtrack, be sure to check out Mr. Zimmer, and Powell. All three of these guys are truly amazing artist. As for the Shooter soundtrack, you just have to buy it. Plain and simple. :)

the score for shooter is a mix of a secret agaent score and a james bond theme but updated. mark mancina hasn't been writing many scores latley but he's back and writes a butt kicking score! i give shooter 4 stars for it's unique mysterious spy feeling.
