I was flipping channels on TV a few nights ago and caught them on a PBS "Nostalgia" show. I had forgotten how beautiful Shirley's voice is. Once I heard her sing "Baby It's You" that song stuck in my head and I couldn't get it out. So hear I am at at 5:13 in the morning, awake since 4:am with that song once again in my head, buying this download. Now maybe I can get some sleep! Great music which brings back so many wonderful memories of my youth or as we used to say in NJ "YUTE!"

I was curious about Baby It's You because The Beatles (can I mention them on iTunes) covered that song. All I can say is wow! They were certainly an influence on The Beatles early sound. And how can Mama Said not instantly remind you of John Lennon's Nobody Told Me. Great Stuff.

It brings me back to the late 1950s and early 1960s....raw, unadulterated talent. Just the best! Brings it all back.....

I found this group off the "Because I said So" soundtrack and loved it. I love watching a movie with good music because I always get songs off the soundtrack. If ur like me then check out the Flicka and August Rush soundtrack!

I saw them recently at Rockland Community College in NY and they were awsome, but there was only three of them. It didn't matter because they rocked!

Buy Mama Said, with the chorus that goes, "mama said there'd be days like this, there'd be days like this my mama said, mama said, mama said." because there will be days like this. It is one of the greatest hits of the Shirelles and deserves to be heard. I like its old sound and its just good to sing along to!!!!!
