    Daedelus's first album is perhaps his most left-field and experimental excursion. Over the course of 10 tracks, the album pounds the listener with constant noise and abberations to the point that you'll either become nauseous at it all or find delight in picking up on the occasional rhythms and patterns that turn up. I bought the album simply because I have a fascination with his works and didn't want to miss out on his origins. However, the album is consistently hit or miss and his approach to noise feels reductive after a while. If you're intent on owning all of Weisberg-Roberts' discography, pick Her's Is > [SIC] up. If you're just a casual fan, save your money for one of his better releases.

    This record, being 5 or 6 years old, must be Daedelus' first. There are elements of noise and rhythm that you can't find in any of his other records, as well a vocal narrative that seems straight off an answering machine! I think "Romantic Music" and "Last Call" hint at what was to come, while "Irresistible..." and others are artifacts of what could have been? I think for more experimental ears.
