I love this movie!!! It's a must-buy for angsty teens or adults. While it's hilarious, it sends an important message. The Album is lovely, and I love the music as well. It's a shame that the made some songs album-only. Spiral beach has great songs, and Kat Dennings has a great voice. Charlie's Monologue is so funny I cried. I wouldn't suggest buying the entire album, though some of the songs are very much worth 99 cents.

Charlie Bartlett was such an awesome movie. It really got to the heart of high school, and what goes on. Anton (charlie) was an awesome character. THe album is okay, but if you put the songs with the movie it makes it oh so much more enjoyable

Although many of the songs are instrumentals, they are upbeat and interesting. Especially in the movie, the music just fit so well. This is one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard. Kat Dennings's song is beautiful and Charlie's monologue was the funniest scene in the movie! If instrumental songs are not your style I would at least get those two songs.

This movie is all about teenage angst, and finding your place in life. This music is a perfect backdrop to the movie, and is just plain fun to listen to. Even if you haven't seen Charlie Bartlett(which you should) I would still recommend checking out the songs. I love the instrumental jazz score by Christophe Beck. Some of the instrumentals are also remenicent of other songs on the album by vocal artists, with a more guitar heavy feel. I love the tracks by Spiral Beach which are wonderfully wacky. The Subways and Hard-FI lend to the rocky teenage angst. Of the score portion First Kiss, Jazz it Up, and You're not Alone are stand-outs, but it all rocks. It is a home run

I've seen this movie about 80 times. It's amazing! Anton Yelchin and Robert Downey Jr. are great in this movie. This soundtrack is very diverse and I enjoy it. This is the first time I ever bought the score along with the other songs.
