Music, wonderful music! Thank you Suzy that this project isn't cookie cutter country. This entire album is creative, melodic, and inspiring. On very few albums do I enjoy every cut, but this work is pure joy beginning to end. I listened to Suzy back in the 90's and loved "Aces." I stumbled onto this project by accident, and I'm so glad I did. Suzy's voice is better than ever and the musicians on this project are fantastically talented. Each song is unique, yet it all fits. Even the interviews are fun listening and reveal something about Suzy that touches the heart. If you love musical talent, buy this! kc

I love Suzy's country stuff and I bought this assuming it would be a country album. I was disappointed when I realized it was strait up 70's style soft rock one of the few types of music I dislike. I'm all for an artist moving forward and changing their sound but I just don't like this style of music. That said, soft rock fans should check this out as even though I don't like the style it's a good album. She does a nice job with Chicago's "If You Leave Me Now" and a decent job with Beth Chapman's "Right Back Into The Feelin". "The Bus Ride" is the one song that I do like. It's not as easy listening as the rest and if you don't buy the album you should consider getting it. "Even If That Were True", "One Clear Moment" and "Everything" are some other standout tracks.

This is NOT country, not even close. But that's OK! It's More than OK! I have always been a Suzzy fan BUT unlike many I am not so genre centered on country. This is one of the best sets of music I've heard from any current female vocalist in years. Her vocals are clean and crisp, the tempos are relaxing but uplifiting. If you like Jazz you'll love this. If you just like good music from a great talent you'll LOVE IT.
  • Country fans miss you!

In Heaven is such a gorgeous song. I had to give this CD a few shots before I really came to love it. I've always been a big fan of Suzy, and this album proves she still has it. Baby July and Right Back Into The Feeling are also very good. Pretty good cover of Chicago's If You Leave Me Now as well :)

This album is addictive. A few songs popped out at first and the more I listen the more addicted to it I become. Brilliant singer, not the over produced pop country. I actually think this cd is stretching the definition of country to the edge. It really is more of an easylistening/jazz mix. If you buy nothing else...you MUST buy, Its Not Going To Happen Today [it is a brilliantly pretty melancholy song], Sweet Danger [a lite upbeat very pleasant tune] and Everything [a jazz inspired lite upbeat pleasant song] .....Really! Get to buying NOW! :)

I have all of Suzy's records and they are all great, but Sweet Danger takes the cake!! This is great music by a very talented artist and it's highly recommended to other people. This is NOT your typical country music, folks! This record makes you feel like you are heading for danger, but to listen to it is just as sweet!!

This album is one of Suzy's finest collections. She has always dared to try new directions, as she is truly an artist. Her album, Swing, showcased the versatility and purity of her voice, introducing a sharp turn from her country roots. Now, she presents "Sweet Danger," a wonderful collection of songs that are not what you might expect from Suzy Bogguss. This album is Nashville meets New York with a unique, very classy style and variety of selections that any music lover will appreciate. Sweet Danger is a must-have for your music collection!
