I was lucky enough to see his first video "Must be Nice" one of the first times it aired on tv. I was floored by what a great video it was, but even more by what a great song it was and how good of a voice Lyfe has. I had no idea who he was, but the positive message in the video really pushed me to buy his debut album "Lyfe 268-192". I certainly wasn't surprised that he gained so much popularity following "The Phoenix". Lyfe is the true definition of talent. This is a great song that shows how great of an album this next one will be. For the positive and uplifting message Lyfe's sucess shows, Lyfe deserves all of the credit in the world. He is a prime example that people can change their lives for good. Lyfe now motivates and uplifts in his amazing songs. Yet another gem from Lyfe.

Lyfe has done the DO. Good song...upbeat and fun...sure to be a hit. Only hope the new album is a balanced mix btw a song like this one (Cops Up) and the genuine heartfelt songs found on the 268-192/Phoenix albums - which by the way are the songs that sets him apart from the rest of this "factory" music genre that we're living in and puts him in the same class as "soon-to-be" legends such as Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Anthony Hamilton, Common, and Angie Stone. Twenty years from now and I'll still be jamming 268-192 and Phoenix...and hopefully the new album CHANGE...because at the end of the day, CHANGE is a must. Peace & Blessings!!!!
