Amazing work

An absolutely brilliant composer and a fair pianist, Dunton has put together an amazing metal/jazz mashup in Real and Imagined.
Kait's style borrows more heavily from Trent Reznor than from Duke Ellington--the pieces are tightly constructed and gripping, with little improvisation but a great deal of innovation: sweeping dynamics, strong melodic structure, shifting meters, and unexpected and beautiful modulations.
The three musicians (piano, bass, and drums) mesh together extremely well. This is an album you'll listen to hundreds of times.
