Justine Suissa is an awesome singer you will fall in love with. This homage to the impending ecological disaster and our responsibility to help prevent doom is among the best I've ever heard on the subject. I'm a new OceanLab fan today thanks to the new set of "On a Good Day" remixes and the paths that led to this Maxi SIngle as well as 2 others from last Summer's "Sirens of the Sea" album. Wound up buying the "Breaking Ties" Maxi Singles as well as this one. I'll probably also buy the "Sirens of the Sea" Maxi Single tomorrow. WARNING: This small $3.99 bargain will likely lead you to spend a total of at least $27.90 for the album and all 4 Maxi Singles from it: Miracle - Maxi Single $3.99, On a Good Day - Maxi Single Bargain $1.99, Sirens of the Sea - 7.29.08 Album $9.99, Breaking Ties - Maxi Single$5.94, and the Sirens of the Sea - Maxi Single $5.99. But they are all worth it. I haven't fallen in love with a particular group in years and this one is IT. Justine's voice is not only perfect pitch but completely legible thanks to carefully executed vocal mixes and her perfect diction in song.
  • A Good Package of Remixes

Let me begin by stating that "Miracle" is definitely NOT Oceanlab's best song. "Sky Falls Down" and the classic "Satellite" are superior in every way. However, until "Breaking Ties" is released (hint hint, producers), this is a good single to represent Oceanlab's beautiful debut album. The remixes here are for the most part pretty good. The Above & Beyond Remixes are a bit slower than I would have expected, but they're euphoric. The radio edit is more of a lounge track, not dancey at all. The Martin Roth Remix (don't bother with the dub) is more subtle with its beauty, but if you like the song, I would suggest this over Michael Cassette's remix. Fletch's remix is interesting and the most upbeat of the remixes, but it kind of ruins the tone and beauty of the song. The Michael Cassette remix is summery, and definitely one of the remixes you should buy. The song as a whole carries a good message, and the lyrics are well-written. Get at least one of the remixes (A&B would be my first choice), but don't pass this off. Another note - Justine Suissa has such amazing vocals!
  • Mediocre

I'm a big fan of A&B and Anjunabeats but "Miracle" somehow manages to be gorgeous and boring at the same time. Perhaps it's the uninspired chorus or more likely the bland, emotionally detached vocal by Justine Suissa which ultimately sinks this track.
  • It's really good.

REAL trance, melodic and beautiful. What you would expect from OceanLab. I have a question though, why doesn't OceanLab just use Anjunabeats instead of Ultra?

I have been listening to Above & Beyond & Oceanlab since the year 2000, and I absolutely love all of their tracks. I have waited so long for this single to be released, ever since I heard it back in April @ one of Above & Beyonds shows. This is my favorite song of the summer!! I love all the mixes, and I cant wait until their album releases on Aug 5th!!! This is a must have song to everybodys collection!!! :)

The miracle is this single. I have not yet come across an OceanLab single I didn't like but this one is amazing. The lyrics have clear allusions to the global warming crisis facing our planet right now paired with OceanLab's beautiful trance sound.
  • Fear not, OceanLab fans!!!

This single and its remixes are great!!! Those of you eager to get the album... it will be released in the US on August 5th via Ultra Records. Expect to see it in physical form and on iTunes the same day.
  • Great new music from OceanLab, at last.

This is the fantastic new single from OceanLab's first full-length album, Sirens of the Sea (released 7/21/08 in Europe but not yet here in USA yet -- hope iTunes will offer it soon). "Miracle" is another classic beauty from this band comprised of the Above & Beyond guys and singer Justine Suissa, my absolute favorite voice in trance music. The only mix NOT worth getting here is the Martin Roth dub (kinda misses the point without vocals). The song is an environmentally conscious plea to take global warming seriously and do something about it. Take a listen and buy the whole collection, or at least the radio edit -- you won't be disappointed.
