I've been a fan for a LONG time. Saw them on the tour for their first album. I've seen them live many times and own almost all of their albums. Man this is the worst album I've heard from these guys. Peaked with Evil Powers of Rock and Roll. They need to decide if they wanna be the Supersuckers or Eddie's side band. Souinds like they are trying to cash in and write music for beer commercials. Pass.

The Supersuckers really take it back to Tucson with this gem. The boys from Molton Leather let the gouls listen to this one before their dead time. Anyone who would give this album less than 5 stars is clearly a WWE fan with a bad gaming habit. Keep up the good work. When we find this fake Mt Graves, we should take him to 17 poles and treat him to some bonfire fun. Hope all is evil in the "Dreary Northwest" and don't forget to be-headed my way. • falls way short of what I expect from these guys....

I couldn't wait to get this cd and when I did I was bummed out....I can't beleive these guys put out a album full of bland rock...several of the songs had been released on the Paid ep...and none have the killer hooks and raw energy guitar that made their earlier releases some of the best rock ever.... the ballads are not interesting or catchy enough to keep you going like say previous mid tempo cuts like "Sleepy Vampire" or "Goin' Back to Tucson" do and the fast Motorhead meets AC/DC type numbers that fuel most of the supersuckers catalog are pretty much not here and when they do appear they sadly lack teeth....if you don't have any cds and are looking to pick one up go grab up "Evil Powers of Rock n Roll" or the best of collection "How the Supersukcers became the greatest rock n roll band in the world"....I still love this band and will buy their next cd, but d*amn I hope they make it burn my speakers to the ground.....

Hey...If you are looking for Born With A Tail go see a live show. These cats have been putting out real rock 'n roll for twenty years. I started listening to them in the late '90s and these guys are the real deal. How many bands can play this kind of rock 'n roll for this long and still be better than pretty much every other "American Idol" commercial band out there? Sure, this album is a little more mellow than previous, but anybody who follows any band will appreciate the creative element and the fact that a band can't just recycle old hits. This album is SOLID! Listen and you will be pleased. The Supersuckers really are the Greatest Rock 'N Roll band in the world. Support live music and Old School Rock 'N Roll. Buy this album, you will not be dissapointed!

These guys tour their butts off and make some awesome tracks. I would refer this album to anyone who likes rock, punk, and/or country. They've found the PERFECT happy medium! The song "She is Leaving" will relate to you, as well as anyone else you know. The other tracks will rock your socks off as well. I hope you enjoy this cd as much as I have. This is my first review I've ever written and I've been rockin' to killer tunes all my life! I hope you this cd too! Just wait til' you see them Live!

This is a great rock and roll record, period. My only disappointment was in already owning a third of the album. If you own the "Paid" EP, you know what I mean. The album opener and 'Anything Else' are rock classics. Take a listen.

I'm an avid supersuckers fan. This was lackluster. I skip over half of the album. It's way to soft compared to Mother******* Be Trippin.Ya this album has a few gems but otherwise it's boring.

This is one of the Best albums I bought in years. Its just good rock that's real and honest. The Supersuckers are a great band and they keep you in a Mid-Fi mood which is pretty dam good.

It nice to see someone make a great album and not just one good song wrapped by a bunch of crap. Suckers have brought it on this one. Every song is great. They are all a little different, but they all work together to make a great album. The production is amazing. I hear something new every time I listen to it. My favorite song keeps changing, but currently it is Anything Else (or maybe Listen Up). I like straight ahead mindless rock as much as the next guy, but it is nice to see these guys write good songs that rock and say something. Way to get it together guys!
  • Falls short of classic Supersuckers "Rock" records

The Supersuckers deserve your respect. They have put out some brilliant records and toured endlessly. That said, this release is nowhere near the greatness of their 90's Rock records "The Evil Powers of Rock n Roll" and "La Mano Cornuda".. The boys have spent this decade trying to forge some Music Row songwriter type identity and it just isn't up to snuff. The fire is out. You should buy a Supersuckers record today - just not this one..
