Saturday's Warrior (Original Cast and Soundtrack)

I've always liked these songs. I'm glad they're available.

this production has had a tremendous impact on our families lives since my new young husband and I first saw the stage production at BYU for its first showings. Now years later we have chosen this song for our family motto's accompaniament. our symbol is the sailboat. We encouraged our 12 grown children and their families to accept this extended family motto, and to also come up with their own individual family motto. I loved how easy it was to find this original song on my iPad through iTunes. when our 63+ grandchildren see a sailboat they will think of this song and what it means. I also downloaded the theme song of the album on my iPad to go with it. I love this song!

Great original album (and honestly, I was surprised to even find this on here) but where's the 1980s version of these songs that I know many of us know and love???

I remember going to the play here in Phoenix and my parents bought the original album on tape. I must have listened to it every day for a year. I still know every song by heart and they still make me emotional :-)

I am amazed to find this recording of the original cast available! A remake was done in the late 80s and that is the only version I've been able to find on CD! The original soundtrack is where my memories are! Definitely a storyline from the 70s and not doctrinely correct, but ya gotta love the nostalgia and memories.

Who hasn't, especially as a missionary, sung these songs and loved it. I wish the movie was also available to download and make fun of.
