I was introduced to this amazing album by the trailer for Battle Los Angeles, oddly enough. If you haven't seen it, the song Sun's Gone Dim plays while humanity is shown fighting off alien invaders.
...Makes for a pretty cool trailer.

I first heard one of these songs on KCRW a few years ago. I remember getting the album, but never really listened to the whole thing through. I finally did just that today and can say a few things. Though it is slow to get moving, this album is almost difficult to listen to at times. Not because it is not good, but because it hits me very emotionally. I would also recommend this album. Just take the time to listen to it all the way through and experience the journey it takes you on. I know I enjoyed it.
