Chillout - Happystyle

Finally William Orbit has dumped the overly ambitious, overly intellectual remixes of classical music and gone back to his chill out form - with fantastic results. Transcendence seems to be the key: at once moody, ethereal, happy, bright, shimmering and lofty - William is back in form! Early Orbit fans will definitely not be disappointed, and new fans can easily be made with this great "comeback" album.
The Best in Sonic Art

This is by far one of William Orbit's best recordings to date. It appropriates a little Torch Song, Strange Cargo, Pieces in a Modern Style, Ray of Light and much more into a fine tuned sound epic. It gets better with every listening. You owe it to yourself to have this in your collection.
Welcome Back William!!!

The new music is fantastic! Very much like the Strange Cargo. Nobody does it better than Mr. Orbit.
Drifting SOOOOO Far

AMAZING! William's new album is amazing, but the true stand out track here is Drift So Far (Website Version). Its STUNNING in every meaning of the word! Its the best choice for single #2. Its also one of the only true vocal tracks. it sounds like a track from the Madonna sessions that had it been, it would have been a crime for her not to keep for herself. The bill Buttons remix of Optical Illusions is great, as is the track Purdy, which was featured in Madonna's own commercial for H&M. Hydrajacked (aka Jangle) is another great track that has a Ray of Light feel to it. Radioharp almost sounds like its about to burst in Britney's Breathe On Me, but never quite gets there, and White Night (the other vocal track, minus Optical Illusions) seems to be missing soomething that the demo version seems to have had. It's not a bad track at all, but it feels like it's not as complete as it's demo version was. Overall, it's a great album and a good follow-up to Hello Waveforms. Now if only he'll release Strange Carge Hinterland to the US, we'd be complete.
