Sharam of Deep Dish has more charisma than his cohort on the Deep Dish duo Dubfire, but this does not unfortunately shine through in this latest release. Deep Dish's offerings have been a little underwhelming and lack the pizazz and novelty encountered with their European counterparts. DD's albums do quite well in Europe as well as here but often come across as lacking real aural identity. It is dance music? Is it pop? Labeling isn't everything, but when you borrow from different types of modern music without ever achieving your own voice, it's hard to renew and reinvent yourself. Deep dish has always been a club-driven act and this Singles release underlines this. Now where's my copy of Prana's "Dream"?

Heard the extended cut (which is better, it's about 5 minutes long) on the Dat Kid From Cleveland mixtape. Great rhymes, catchy sampling and a nice beat, plus a cool intro and overall sound. Kid Cudi's style shines through, of course, with its refreshing sense of humor.

Kid Cudi never ceases to amaze me with his lyrics. everything he spits is meaningful and actually worth listening too. Its not the same old garbage that you hear coming out nowadays, its original and new and pretty much every track cudi has come out with i have fallen in love with. Im so glad that someone like cudi has come along!! five stars!
