Great star, great back up, great studio...

Yields a major ....curiosity . The indestructible voice of voices suddenly finds itself in struggle to keep up with the band , which is impressive but too often too much - too many jnstruments playing off beats. Too many tracks with too Little of Richard. Best track is the basic 2-4 "Sanctified Toe Tapper", all instrumental ! "Rockin Boogie" is very much the "real" LR , a delirious vocal in the jump blues tradition but dragged down by the aforementioned over syncopation . Lyrics are terrific , though . Check it out. Real downer : risqué "Nuki Suki" follows "the saints " > bad!!
