My Dinosaur Life

I know people are always going on about "The Black Parade" calling it the best rock album of our generation, best rock album ever etc. Don't believe them. THIS is the most creative, unique and inspiring rock album of recent years, HANDS DOWN! Look anywhere people, I have, and I still haven't found an album where I LOVED every single song on it, not even on "The Black Parade" which I'll admit is a good album.

Not necassarily MCS's best album but definantly better than most artists nowadays and although you couldn't find the strong, heart-felt lyrics + melody on this album like Commit This to Memory and Even if It Kills Me, can find some great songs in Skin and Bones, The Weakends, and Pulp Fiction.

I was typing in random crap and I type in dinosaur and this album came up. I bought the song A lifeless ordinary. I went on vaction a few day ago and I licened to it 106 in 1 dang day!!!! Make more great albums like this one!!!!

i really love mcs and i know that every band can't make the same cd everytime but this cd is a little flat. commit this to memory was a masterpeice, i am the movie was truely original and even if it kills me was a little more poppy than the mcs we all love but this cd is such a departure from the hooks and song structure of the last 3 cds. i'm not bashing it by any means but they definately could have included more of jesse's moog that was so prevalent in the previous 3 albums cause to me jesse's moog and justin's clever vocals are what seperate this band from the thousands of other bands that are trying to replicate mcs's sound. not bad, not great, but better than most other artists of this genre.

awesome album all around! I love it. Motion city Soundtrack it back and even better than ever. And set a high bar for bands in 2010. Diappear shows the more dark side while Her Words Destroyed My Planet shows the more pop side and other songs shows the funny side of them. This album is all around awesome

The title pretty much says it all. MCS went a slightly different direction in this album. No more are the ridiculously happy upbeat tunes in Even if it Kills Me, and say farewell to the incessant and always present moog keyboard of Commit This To Memory. You are introduced to a more dark and serious tone in a lot of these songs on My Dinosaur Life. Nevertheless, it is a great album that is a must for any MCS fan. GET IT!

I've just finished the album, straight listens with lyrics, a pad and pencil for notes - Tony Thaxton is a super-hero. The love I've had for Motion City Soundtrack for years, has been instensified once more. Thank you Motion City. With Utmost Sincerity, Skip P.S. Stand Too Close may be the best MCS song I've ever heard.

OMG This Album proves Motion City Soundtrack is the best band ever. I can`t wait to buy this album. All the songs are great
