Stan Kenton was an innovator and the consummate professional. What he did for the future of jazz may never be equalled. His years of dedication to young musicians as well as countless workshops and "jazz camps" for school-age players is the stuff of legend. How dare you smug, lifeless music "critics" pan every Kenton effort from the 70's as "one of those college stage bands". You obviously have no gift yourself. Creep! You have no taste either.

Those who can't, write reviews! This album is a first class example of what real musicians can do. As to the sucker who wrote that review...hey, sorry about your childhood! really.
