iTunes Session - EP

They are incredible. They care about the music they make (that's why they are protective of the licensing) they put on a great live show (saw in Cleveland HOB)

If I hadn't already seen these guys live, I wouldn't have believed this was a live recording; it's just that amazing. Victoria's vocals are perfect throughout and the mix is somewhat less subdued than it is on the albums, adding a nice boost to the guitar. Standout tracks include a very eerie version of "Norway" that grows on you with each listen and an in-your-face version of "Gila." The whole EP is amazing and well worth the purchase.

I saw a mention of the group in the New Yorker, so I listened to some excerpts. I bought the iTunes Session, it is great. So now I have purchased all of their material. Now I hope to see them when I go to New York.

I loved this album with one exception. Norway just sounded off to me, but other than that they were all pretty great.

They need to release a lives album, because they are not done justice!! This EP is cool. Lovely versions of Silver Soul and Real Love, and White Moon is sweet! Good stuff from Beach House as always.

Like one of the previous reviewers said, Norway sounds almost completely different than the album version. It's not horrible mind you, it's just a really different take on the song and might throw off those looking for something like what was on the album. Other songs sound just great live, Silver Soul and Real Love are definitely my favorite here. You really can't go wrong with this album. Give Norway a listen on the preview and if it freaks you out just don't buy that track, but the rest are all great!

Great EP! Beach House has done it again. The remixes are just as good as the originals. Silver Soul and Gila are almost better. I would strongly suggest buying this.
