This album makes me cry (In a good way)

I have really liked hearing these guys for the first time. One of their songs came on an iTunes Radio station and I had to investigate. Thankful that there are artists like this!!!

I can't explain with words how great this album is. It pretty much has everything; great voices, great LDS hymns. I simply love it! ❤️

I actually cried when I heard secret prayer it is a hymn I've always known the words to.My great great grandfather wrote the song in the mid 1800's he also wrote the music but it was all piano.His name was Hans Henry Petersen,I know he would have loved this version as much as I do along with the rest of the hymns.

This is the first time I've listened to an album of hymn renditions and gotten that joyful feeling that you get when good music is delivered with skill and genius. Fantastic.

This is a refreshing and welcome take on the hymns. I watched the documentary of the Lower Lights on The Song That Changed My Life (BYUTV) and fell in love with their sound. This album takes you on a journey, where you can feel each song come alive for what seems to be the first time. Songs like Jesus Savior Pilot Me and Secret Prayer are two songs that seem to really get at the heart and soul of what the artists are trying to express. Each track will transport you next to an evening camp fire or to an afternoon porch of someone you hold dear. There is something familiar about it that i cant quiet place my finger on, but it feels a lot like getting a hug from the past and that is what I love most about these songs!

Like everything about it... Stoked to have music that represents the way I see the Gospel! Thanks to the band and keep it going... After "count your blessings" someone says "that was beautiful", I agree!

My mother gave me this CD for my birthday...my husband and I are addicted! For fans of Greg Laswell, Angus and Julia Stone, Dar Williams etc., this band is for you! We love having hymns to listen to any day of the week because of this band. They bring the joy of these hymns into a more energetic light, I'm just so in love and so grateful for my awesome mom who showed this to us! You can just feel the warmth coming from their love of the gospel! Thank you Lower Lights!
