I saw this concert in 1973 in the Hofheinz Pavillion at the University of Houston. I always wanted to see Dylan, and I was a big fan of The Band, so this was a 'must see' show for me. And it was one of the best concerts ( right up there with Bruce! ) I've ever seen. This record is exactly how the concert sounded, which makes it one of the best live recordings I've ever heard. The best!
One of the greatest live albums EVER!

Bob Dylan and The Band made music that influenced the greatest bands of their time. The chance to experience Dylan straight out of his reclusive years, and starting on an entire new style. The band is the greatest front and backing band Ever! Robbie's screaming raw guitar, Garth's genius, Richard's soulful voice, Rick's brave vocals, and Levon's Rock N'Roll heart made this one of the best live albums ever. The greatest writers and talents packed on one stage is way too much for one person to listen to alone. This album is too much!!!
Outstanding!

This is live Dylan and THE Band at their absolute best. Better than The Last Waltz and the best live Dylan from this period in his career. Amazing live album from two hugely influential icons in rock music. I love it. One of the first "live" albums I bought as a kid and I still think it was one of the best purchases I have ever made!
