  • Beautiful. Very enjoyable.

Wonderful treatments of classic show tunes with terrific arrangements, very romantic sounding. I appreciate Marty Goetz paying tribute to such great melodies and lyrics. Christians should be free to hear the beauty in the world around them and glorify God in it, even if it doesn't fall under the "Christian" record label. I'm thankful that the Goetz's see that, and I hope that God blesses Marty in every project he undertakes, whether overtly evangelistic or for the simple enjoyment of the listener. It all has value.
  • Marty's voice is for God ONLY

I love Marty as my brother in Jesus. I have had the privilege of seeing him perform twice at the Beth Ariel Fellowship but this is not Marty. His beautiful voice was given to him for the glory of God ONLY. When I hear him sing He Is My Defense or The Love of God or Risen Again or any of the other songs He sings to our Lord I am brought right to God's throne by the beauty of the conversation I hear taking place between him and our God. Those songs and many others as performed by Marty under the Lord's anointing are transforming. However that very anointing from God which makes Marty's work so wonderful and unique is sorely lacking here. If you want to hear the beauty of a Jewish believer singing to his Messiah then purchase any of Marty's other albums. Truly I do not mean any slander against Marty. I only pray that he will go back to his true roots and stay away from this secular music which lacks any true anointing from our God. I love you Marty!
