Bro I’m like twelve and have been collecting cds and records for years. I own a ton of KoRn albums and I remember my grandparents taking me to a record store in NJ, that in November had sadly closed forever. I had gotten the KoRn original album classics 5 cds. This by far is my fav koRn album EVER. It has always been since I was nine.
  • The most terrifying album ever debut.

Of all the grunge bands emerging in the early 1990s, especially the rising fame of Nirvana, the funky rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the diabolical Alice in Chains, there is one band that many people will not forget: the Nu-Metal band Korn. 1994 was the year when Nu-Metal begin to rise in the mainstream. The album's theme deals with drug abuse, child abuse, and bullying. Some songs are based on true events. One such song will be "Clown," a song of when Jonathan Davis gets booed by a man all covered in tattos. As he knelt down, the man swing him but missed, resulting the band's manager to attack him in retaliation. "Daddy" is probably the worst and darkest song where it is solely focused on Jonathan's devestating past as a child. Needless to say, he refused to play the song during concert tours, and he outright cried and slammed the microphone in both anger and grief, sometimes his bandmates comfort him afterwards. I love this album. All the songs are raw and emotional.

I love the new drummer he’s great but sometimes I miss this guy. He really had a unique style and way that he pounded on these things. This album is still by far one of their best I love the 45 that followed it but I don’t know this one just has a sound, but I always come back to you
  • It still sounds fresh and modern.

This album is got to be one of the band’s heaviest albums. Plenty of good songs. Worth listening to
  • Their peak work.

Korn changes their sound often but they can never beat this record as it is their pinnacle of raw emotion and originality. It’s their most violent and awesome music to date and still gives me chills since I got into them back in 94.
