I first heard Shelly Fairchild at 3rd and Lindsley in Nashville a few years ago when she was in her rock phase, somewhat after her bluesy but mainstream country Columbia Nashville album "Ride," and I thought it was the second coming of Janis Joplin. Shelly is one of Nashville's great, great live performers. Now she wants to do R&B, okay, whatever, she makes great music and the fine production here almost does the impossible: capturing the energy and soulfulness of a live Shelly performance.

I have been waiting for years for another album from Shelly. I'm so glad it's finally here. This album is different than her first, but I think she's still amazing. This album makes me wanna move and shake. Shelly rocks! Buy this and you will NOT be disappointed.

This record is already one of my favorites. Very rarely do I buy a record an listen to the entire thing at once but with one not only did I listen to the entire thing but played it again and again! Awesome record and an amazingly powerful voice.
