  • Misleading title, false name.

Get real iTunes. We want the real thing, not impostors. These are not stories from the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. I will not waste my money on somebody's greed, and false advertising.

It's all been said here already. And had I read just one review, or had I just listened to the sample, I could have saved this money for the 7th Tradition. I just never imagined this. This is not a work of love and respect for a text that has helped so many people get free from booze. Who came up with this idea? You're not helping carry the AA message. Unless of course your plan is to reinvest these funds into great reading performances by talented alcoholics who are well cast for each story. That would at least be helpful and inspiring for someone down the road. I'm sure that must be your plan.
  • Lacks emotional connection

Story is great but dealing with a sick suffering alcoholic requires that same connection they talk about in the big book between 2 alchies, this robot computerized narrator does not establish any sense of comfort and I think due to that it doesn't provide as much help to someone in need! Take the 5 minutes to have a human read and ull have a great product worth the $$$
  • Awful Listening

This is seriously a computer voice robot who is reading these stories. I so wanted to be able to listen to the personal stories while I drive, so I tried this and it's awful to listen to. This is so not worth the money. I want my money back!!!
  • Not really an audiobook!

This is ridiculous! It is a computer voice reading the stories, with all of the short-comings a computer brings to a book reading. Really, you could make your own, with Bubbles, or any of your other favorite Apple voice. I can't imagine how they can sell this in good conscience.
  • How can I get my money back?

If this was from a regular store I would return it. The voice is robotic and awful to listen to. I got through three stories and can't stand the voice. I really would like to return it for my $10 back!
  • Disappointing

The mechanical voice is not the worst issue with this recording in my experience. Many of the stories are incomplete, aborting unpredictably in mid-sentence. I'm disappointed!
  • Reader Review

The stories are very good but the reader is an amature and makes it hard to listen to. Too bad because he really takes away from the experience.
  • Terrible

The narration sounds like a robot. Waste of money.
  • Don't buy!

I was really excited about this. However, it's a computer voice reading the stories. Unlistenable. Do not buy.
