I love love HH... Oceans is an amazing song...so beautiful. Some people hate on HH for their music having gone in a different direction...different sound etc... They've evolved and are still coming out with amazing stuff.

I've loved Hawthorne since the beginning. Even the past 2 albums. They have such amazing talent and I can't stand ppl that started trashing them because there's no screams or it sounds too "poppy". Well....here you go. They changed what they said about never screaming again for y'all. Maybe now not only will they please old listeners and gain new fans but also get some of the two-faced "fans" back and buy their trilogy.
  • Their Finnest Work!

This is true emotional music from one of the most "Emo" bands in the music industry, this E.p. is even more emotional than their first two albums. With songs like "There Was A Kid" and "Hate" they are finally being true to themselves and going completly 180 of what their previous record label expected of them. Best of luck to the entire band, Rest In Peace Casey, Keep up the good work Hawthorne Heights!

This album was all I could ask for from them. After their screamer sadly died, they really slipped from their post-hardcore roots. This album completely restores their legacy. Its so, so good. I hope this album sets the standard for their future work.

I just feel like the screams are way too forced and his voice sounds so much different than in other albums.

Been a long time HH fan. Every time I listen to an album whether it's their first, second, third, forth or the newest I see so much passion in the music. I think after Casey died they coiled a bit not knowing what direction to go in and it took them to the Hate album where they finally have begun the journey over again. I can only see them getting better from here. Micah is a great screamer. NO ONE will ever be Casey. I will always be loyal to HH and continue to listen with an open mind and enjoy their music as it comes.

I LOVED Skeletons. It's one of my favorite albums from any artist. But... what in God's name is this? They're trying to go back to their Freshman and Sophomore albums, and it's just not clicking. Ever since Casey died, HH just hasn't been the same, but they found an awesome sound with the past 2 albums. The sound they had in Fragile Future and Skeletons was awesome, I'm dissapointed that they're trying to be screamo again. Deffinitely do not reccommend buying.

People need to start freaking out about this. first off its is a great EP filled with so much emotion and killer songs, second. This is only the first part of an ep trilogy people. They're going to release two more EPs in the future. So if this one is about hate the next one might be about love. It's a series. maybe you should have thought of that.
