White Christmas

As someone who who not only sang and danced with her father on his show every week, but also had the privilege of appearing with Deana on Dean's program and on The Golddiggers summer series, I am thrilled to be able to say that Deana Martin's "White Christmas" is the best new Christmas album that I've heard in over two decades. Filled as it is with a mix of songs once performed by both her Dad and other artists, this rich, sonorous yuletide offering is romantic and sure to get anyone (even the Grinches and Scrooges out there) into the holiday spirit! It is the perfect accompaniment to decorating the Christmas tree -- which is how I listened to Deana's CD earlier today, while singing along with it -- and an ideally festive soundtrack for enjoying beautiful arrangements, beautifully rendered, with friends and family. Even if you think your collection of Christmas music is complete, make room for at least this one sterling addition. One listen, and you'll be glad you did. You are most likely familiar with these songs but the arrangements and the talented voice of Deana Martin bring entirely new life to these songs. There is not a weak song on this entire album and the duet with Andy Williams on White Christmas is sensational. This album has already become one of my most favorite Christmas albums.

I love traditional Christmas music, and this is one of the best new albums I have heard in a long time. On every song, Deana sounds like she's singing with a smile on her face. And as a listener, I can't help but smile along. Thank you, Deana!

This is a must for Christmas. Deana sounds great and the duet with Andy Williams is marvelous. I love all the songs she picked to be on this album. I also have the Volare cd, she does a wonderful job with her Dads songs. She is truely a very talented singer.

Deana Martin is a masterful singer, and this Christmas CD does not disappoint! I absolutely adore her voice--it is amazing and every song she sings is done to perfection! This is classic Christmas music done the way it was meant to be.

It is not often that a recording artist puts as much care and effort into a Christmas collection as Deana has done here. The arrangements are beyond lush, extremely well played, recorded and mixed while Deana's vocals are shining from start to finish. The song selection is impeccable and her White Christmas duet with Andy Williams adds the perfect ribbon to an already perfect gift. It has been a long time since I've heard a Christmas collection with this level of musicanship. Bravo Deana, Bravo!

There comes a time in every performer's career when everything is aligned and the results are magical. Deana Martin's CD "White Christmas" is one of those times, This is a contemporary, swinging, and thoroughly enjoyable holiday favorite. Deana takes creative turns on these holiday classics that makes them fresh and enticing. She has leaked a few of these tracks the last few years, but it's great to finally have a complete collection. I especially like her swinging take on "Jingle bell rock", plus her charming duet with Andy Williams on "White Christmas". Deana's voice has a strength and charm that is unique. Her creative styling makes this CD the perfect compliment to the holiday seasson. Far and away, Deana's best CD to date. She has come into her own with this fine collection. No need to stand in the shadow of her famous Papa. Deana is a star on her own. She has created a collection that will be part of our families Christmas celebrations for years to come. BRAVO!

This album reminded me of a time when all the singers did something to celebrate Christmas. The standards on this album are great songs and they are performed with the utmost respect. Deana does a great job. I,especially enjoyed the duets with Andy Williams. After listening to this album,I went back and watched The Dean Martin Xmas show with the Martin and Sinatra families. I hope a TV special will be done from this album.

What a great Christmas CD..In the spirit of her father Deana sings all the Christmas greats, and even a duet with Andy Williams..She has such a sweet smooth voice and every song is a winner..A great CD to add to your collection!
