    Many forgot about Slater after his departure from the minimal scene with Alright On Top. However, the DJs throwing down his Planetary reworks knew just how hard Luke strikes. As good or better than his contemporaries like Ben Sims or Carl Cox, Slater keeps the sound of techno out of the David Guetta pergatory so many brain dead lotus eaters are drawn to. His soul is the sound of hard tech, born from the rusty entropy of post industrial diasporas.
