My Favorite Christmas album to listen to among frank sinatra, michael buble and nat king cole this ranks up there with the best. The piano has me feeling like a modern Bill Evans is playing. Gorgeous vocal. The duets and the single by acacia is just beautiful and smooth.

Bought one song, then another, and another. Finally figured I'd buy the whole album - It's been on rotation all season long. Instant classic. The pacing of the album is smart ,nicely transitioning from Vocal to all instrumental pieces. The compositions are intriguing yet simple and the vocals are delicate - David and Acacia make the perfect pair. Hope to hear more soon!

Enjoying this album that I bought yesterday. It's now a part of my holiday playlist and getting a lot of plays. Acacia's vocals remind me of Billie Holiday's "Moonglow". David's voice sounds like the jazz greats from long ago. If you want a smooth, Christmas album you can kick back to, I highly recommend this one.
Complex with melodic changes but extremely smooth.

I'm not a jazz expert. This album is one that is played in the background as you sit next the crackling fire, snow is falling outside, a night cap, and you have a nice book in your hand. This album is smooth, crisp with the beats, his touches on the piano are creative and perfect, and highly enjoyable on the ears. Part of me hopes David Ian can produce more music like this all year round. I feel shortchanged, hoping for more than 11 tracks, but I believe as a whole, its complete. It's been on repeat since I purchased it and now I want Christmas to be next week. He definitely strung me along to the mood and beauty behind Christmas. It's worth the purchase!
