Down Like Silver - EP

Totally reminiscent to the days of Eastmountainsouth (whom I dearly miss). Such a great album. So rich and pure. Buy. It. Now.

Peter Bradley is just amazing and this little EP is just fantastic , love Caitlin too. Good job guys.

I consider Down Like Silver the best record I’ve heard for the 2011 album/EP crop. The lyrics are particularly good: mature, deep, thought-provoking. In them, I hear truths including the realization of life as a battle, and a yearning for the “Pasture” of rest. In them is the searching question of whether or not we have truly loved unselfishly (“Have I Loved”). Here also I find hope (“Any Day”). Combine the depth of thought evoked by the Peter Bradley Adams and Caitlin Canty’s words, with mature, soulful musicianship and styling and you get a smash to end 2011.

Music stripped down to its essence. This reminded me much of the Gillian Welch - Dave Rawlings duo. Naked, soulful music that had me mesmerized half way through the first song.

Caitlin Canty and Peter Bradley Adams have really put something amazing together - I can't wait to hear what else comes from this duo! More songs!

Must have for any PBA fan. What a great band & great EP. Highly recommended.
