So I was watching the walking dead (season three episode 1 I think), when I heard this song in the background. I used the sound hound thing and found out that it was "Noisy Sunday", and thought it was so relaxing and peaceful. And because that summer is here and I am missing a lot of people from school, I actually started crying during the song, that's how peaceful it is.

There is a visceral honesty on this recording with meticulous craftsmanship in every note. The haunting underpinnings of Jeff Buckley evoke a wondrous, almost painful curiously of what lies ahead as each song evolves. Without overstating itself, the ensemble showcases its keen musicianship while allowing the delicate stature of each piece to be elucidated effortlessly. A true diamond in the rough.

Patrick Watson, once again delicate and delightful in this mystical adventure which this album travels through. A strange yet powerful collage of unusual sounds and enchanting vocals. I recommend this album 100 percent.

This man makes the most beautiful music my ears have ever heard. Everything he does is brilliant. I don't even remember how I stumbled upon Patrick Watson, but the moment I heard Where The Wild Things Are I knew my musical tastes were evolving. I'm also a huge fan of The Cinematic Orchestra. Gorgeous sounds all around.

atmospheric, melodic…ultimately, the most amazing new artist i've heard in years. with the sophistication of radiohead, the song constructions of john lennon and the beatles, the singing of jeff buckley, patrick wilson assembles and delivers a unique musical experience that goes beyond audio...
