The Doors give us their final masterpiece 40 years ago. An absolute must for die hard Doors fans. This album is brilliant.

Jim Morrison never liked his singing voice. He was a great poet.

This has always been an alone listen for me, and it never disappoints. If you're a ' light my fire' only type fan-skip it. If you're a Doors fan-get it.
This album is a timeless gem

I think Jim's dad put it best when he said " my son had a unique genius that expressed without compromise." Might not be the best poetry but it is most assuredly without compromise. He put his heart into every word and that is what it is all about.

I've read, listened and watch almost everything by The Doors and it's been years since I've looked at any new material. I was glad to find this. I thought it was a good offering by the surviving members. I recommend it to anyone who is a collector.
