Kristine W is the most talented artist.on the planet

Downloaded Kristine W's great new dance single, "Everything That I Got", and have been listening to it all day long! Love KW, and "Everything That I Got", should soon be shooting up the Billboard Club charts like all her prior hits. Can't wait to dance to this in the clubs! I've seen Kristine perform live at several Pride Festivals, and club performances. Her voice is amazing in person-- no lip synching like so many other "recording" artists who can't hold a candle to her gift, plus she plays several musical instruments. With all the changes in the recording industry, KW started her own record label "Fly Again Music', a few years ago, and released the record breaking dance cd, "The Power of Music," that dropped seven #1 singles on the Billboard Club Dance chart. All that, and her personal story of surviving lymphoma is simply inspiring. She's truly "giving it everything that she's got." Can not wait for her upcoming cd, "New and Number Ones."

This song is fierce!!! I can totally relate to the lyrics, the song is very catchy and full of energy. Twisted Dee is my favorite mix but the Bimbo Jones beat is by far a beat that sticks to your head and I cannot help but say "Hey, Hey, hey yeah!" Keep the music coming Kristine our dance floors NEED YOU!!!!

First off, to start this review I'll say, I'm biased... biased, biased, biased! Back in the mid 90's I was working at a country radio station in Montana. Even though it was country, the station would still get promos for the top 10 songs, or new releases, or songs "for your consideration" in every musical genre. I heard Kristine W's "One More Try" and some corresponding magazine write up citing her influences from Donna Summer to Prince and I had to check this Amazonian white woman out. Loved it. Later that year of discovering Miss W, I was feeling a bit stir crazy in Montana, and convinced a friend to go with me to Las Vegas. I wanted to go to some clubs that didn't play country... I was up to my overalls in country. Saw a billboard saying Kristine W played nightly at a hotel (which escapes me at the moment). I didn't even know if it was the same Kristine W, but I figured I'd check it out. Long story short... it was her... she had more talent than I could possibly imagine... she played every instrument in the house... she jammed. Upon buying Kristine W's "Land of the Living" Album, she had a catchy, upbeat, and sometimes humorous song called "Jazz'n". "Jazz'n" might not have been airplay appropriate, I mean, the song had some edge, some immoral references, and a tongue and cheek approach which seems to get filtered by most music airplay. Nonetheless, it was a FAVORITE of my sorted friends and mine. The song was more than vocal gymnastics, perpetrating drum beats and synchopated rhythms... it had humor and ATTITUDE! A song to make you say, "work it girl!" Kristine W's music has always been club triumphant... one which springs to mind is "Fly Again", which seemed to re-enstate even after Kristine W's health crisis, that she was stronger than ever and still a club diva to be dealt with. But, for me, looking back on Kristine W's career... the ups... the downs... one thing has pretty much remained consistant... how Kristine W has essentially been an independent artist who hasn't always had the backing of major labels to put her automatically on top of the bunch. The woman has worked hard to stay on top, even to maintain... even to get by! Like I stated before, the woman plays an array of instruments, she's gorgeous, she has powerhouse vocals, she's Xena of the Night Club... you'd think she'd be a household name by now! Plenty of the gays know her... but there's always those that don't, considering where they live, what stations are promoting what artists, etc... I mention ALL of this, because this song I think epitomizes Kristine W at all her finest qualities... vocals, beats, collaborations, mixes, and lyrics that are giving you her life, her mantra, and with humor and ATTITUDE! "Everything That I Got" incorporates that first spark, of "One More Try", which put her on the music scene... the production value, aggressive club beats, and ideology of "Fly Again"... the persistants of "Stronger"... and the funky, jubilaint attitude of a fan favorite like "Jazz'n". It's Donna Summer's "She Works Hard for the Money" meets Thelma Houston's "Don't Leave Me This Way" meets Karen Young's "Hot Shot" while hanging out with Jessie J's "Price Tag" & "Domino". Was there anything I missed? The song immediately bumped all my other W favorites down a few notches to put "EVERYTHING THAT I GOT" to the TOP of my ALL TIME FAVORITE Kristine W's songs EVER! And I have to say this with AT-TI-TUDE.... ALL TIME FAV OF KRISTINE'S... EV-VAH!!! Top fav mixes are just as Gib1330 cited... The Bimbo Jones mix and the Subgroover mix... DELICIOUS!!! I can't decide which I like bet-tah!?! This song will go well in ANY party mix, any UPBEAT mix, any WORK OUT mix, any MOTIVATIONAL mix, any club or disco or dance mix. I JUST WISH THE SONG CAME OUT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SUMMER!!! Would have LOVED to hear it at NYC's Gay Pride... But it's not too late to pump this baby on the way out to Fire Island... DOWNLOAD IT... AND WORK IT!!! PERFECT ANTHEM IN THIS ECONOMIC MELTDOWN!!! "... my love is not for sale, Sale, SALE... SALE!" "... work'n everything that I got..."

I've been working everything that I got this morning on the dancefloor I call my living room! I've loved the Bimbo Jones production since KW gave me a preview in February, but Stonebridge does a nice house interpretation with a happy latin flavored piano while Subgroover kind of remind me of Deadmau5. The upcoming album, next month or October, is fantastic! It's got great flow and the remakes of her number ones are sweet! Loving You, for example, to me, sounds way better to me than the original did! The album also contains a tribute to one of KW's idols, the late Donna Summer..Good stuff, girls and boys, keep your eyes open!
